The Ceramica, Rado’s famous all-ceramic watch, has been revisited by industrial designer Konstantin Grcic. The original watch, with its minimalist design ethos and fully integrated high-tech ceramic case and bracelet, sparked the trend for ceramic watches and is revisited in a high-tech black matte ceramic case. Grcic has softened the rigid lines of the original Ceramica by tapering and rounding the edges of the ceramic links on the bracelet and case and refreshing the layout of the dial. The rectangular case measures 30 x 41.7mm and the dial features Arabic numerals and a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock. For additional legibility, the tips of the hands and minute track are treated with white Super-LumiNova.
