EDITOR'S REVIEW
The new Richard Mille RM 037 Ladies watch is a highlight of the Swiss watchmaker's 2014 collection for women. This model is a feminine interpretation of the original RM 037 watch. Dedicating this timepiece exclusively to women, it is bold and daring and as robust and powerful as any Richard Mille timepiece. Crafted from tough TZP-N black ceramic and red gold with accents of diamonds on the dial, the tonneau-shaped case houses the skeletonised automatic calibre CRMA1 movement. The pavé diamond inner dial mirrors the shape of the bezel with an oversized date aperture at 12 o'clock created from two skeletonised, rotating discs and operated by a pusher at 10 o'clock. The push button at 4 o'clock selects the winding, neutral or handsetting functions with a corresponding aperture indicating the setting. The patented stem-crown, which is not linked to the heart of the movement, ensures the mechanism is not affected by external influences, guaranteeing its integrity. Powering the central luminescent red gold hour and minute hands is the calibre CRMA1 movement, which, in true Richard Mille style, provides a power reserve of up to 50 hours. The movement has been exquisitely crafted, combining satin, chamfered, blasted, brushed and polished finishing, including rare black polishing.
