EDITOR'S REVIEW
Warding off the negative forces of the Evil Eye is the theme behind this extraordinary watch from Richard Mille - a watch that might well have been forged in the imagination of Tolkien’s character Sauron. Although the brand’s hallmark traits are intact - the tonneau-shaped case and the high-tech mechanical movement complete with a tourbillon - creativity takes centre stage. Decorated by acclaimed artist Olivier Vaucher, the dial is set on fire with solid gold lacquered flames and a glowing evil eye created with grand feu enamelling. The matt black ceramic case with a luxurious red gold band houses the RM 26-02 calibre with a 50-hour power reserve. If you look closely on the back of the watch, you will see the Evil Eye nested in the heart of the movement, on hand to protect its wearer from any malign influences. Limited to just 25 pieces, the Evil Eye watch will be sold exclusively at the 25 Richard Mille boutiques dotted around the globe.
