EDITOR'S REVIEW
British jewellery designer Rodney Rayner is not afraid of playing with vibrant colour combinations to create bold statement jewels. He often looks to nature for inspiration, and the idea for the Sea Urchin collection was born after a sailing holiday in Belize and Tahiti. In this ring a shimmering white opal takes centre stage surrounded by waves of blue sapphire pavé that mimic the colour of the world’s most tantalising oceans. A multiple winner at the Couture Design Awards in Las Vegas, Rodney’s meticulous design process always starts with a hand-carved wax model, and all centre stones are specifically cut for each piece.
