EDITOR'S REVIEW
Roger Dubuis has been creating avant-garde, elegant timepieces since 1995 and in that time has developed some of the most technically beautiful watch movements. Roger Dubuis is the only watchmaker to be entirely Poinçon de Genève certified, the seal of which is engraved onto every watch movement the company produces. One of the Swiss watchmaker's iconic collections, the Hommage pays tribute to the spirit of its founder and his love of fine craftsmanship, the horologist Roger Dubuis. This Hommage Chronograph in pink gold features an elegant dial of silver and grey with pink gold appliqué Roman numerals and a white and pink gold minute circle around the charcoal grey flange. The elegant tones of the muted pink and charcoal grey are echoed around the face with pink gold hour and minute hands, and a grey sweeping seconds hand with an acuminate counterweight. The pleated dial houses the snailed chronograph apertures, with the 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and the small seconds counter at 9 o'clock. The 42mm pink gold case has bold rectangular chronograph pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock balanced by the rounded and ridged crown at 3 o'clock. The Calibre RD680 self-winding movement with micro-rotor is visible through the sapphire case back. With a 42-hour power reserve, this exquisite movement, with 261 parts and 42 jewels, has a frequency of 4Hz and is water resistant to 30m. The watch is presented on a tonal brown alligator strap with a pink gold pin buckle.
