A Rolex icon, the Oyster Perpetual is a direct descendant of the 1926 waterproof Oyster watch and the 1931 Perpetual mechanical self-winding movement. Like all watches at Rolex, this 31mm steel model is certified as a Superlative Chronometer and boasts a precision rate of -2/+2 seconds per day. The Oyster case guarantees water-resistance to 100 metres and is crafted in corrosion-resistant 904L steel, with a screw-down caseback and winding crown to protect the mechanical self-winding movement. The lovely blue azzuro dial is offset with Roman numerals with numbers III, IV and IX in applied 18-ct. white gold while the rest are in a contrasting light blue colour. Designed to be worn day in, day out, the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protecting the dial and the superlative quality 904L steel with its satin and polished finishes will keep the watch looking brand new for years to come.
