EDITOR'S REVIEW
The Rolex Oyster, the world's first water-resistant wristwatch launched in 1926 acquired its "Perpetual" status in 1931 following the invention of a patented self-winding mechanism called the perpetual rotor. Featured in every Oyster watch since, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual has become synonymous with chronometric precision and quality. The modern incarnation of the classic Rolex Perpetual watch keeps the same timeless form. The 36mm stainless steel case features a burgundy sunray dial with classic Rolex baton hour indices and central hour, minute and seconds hands. The COSC-certified self-winding movement is housed within the fluted caseback that has been hermetically sealed. To further ensure its water resistance of up to 100m, the winding crown features the Rolex patented Twinlock double Waterproofness system. The Rolex Perpetual watch is presented on the Oyster stainless steel triple link bracelet.
