London-based design duo Emma Madden and Luke Shimell create minimalist yet bold jewels that pay homage to science, architecture and nature. Their creative process is a fusion of Luke’s goldsmithing skills and Emma’s background in art and conceptual design. The Symmetry collection is inspired by the designers’ fascination with geometry, and features contemporary pieces with a nod to ancient and classical architecture. Lines and circles of textured gold are layered to create three-dimensional jewels such as these half circle ear studs that are each set with a brilliant-cut white diamond.
