Primordial silver ring in black enamel with sapphires

Before becoming a jewellery designer, Matthew Campbell Laurenza studied architecture and obtained a degree in fine arts, specialising in sculpture. And you can see how well these two disciplines come together in his creations for his very own M.C.L fine jewellery brand. This Primordial ring has been crafted in his workshops in Thailand using sterling silver with a black rhodium plating, black enamel, and hand-selected and set multicoloured sapphires. The strong geometry speaks of his fascination with the Art Deco period and gives the ring a unique identity that will not go unobserved. As with much of his work, the silver inside the ring has been hollowed out to create a pretty floral pattern and lighten the weight of the ring.
