EDITOR'S REVIEW
This is one of the most intricate paste parures that is not on view in a museum. The centrepiece in Simon Teakle’s Georgian parure is crafted with 11 navette-shaped openwork links, each set with five pink pastes and decorated with bows in the necklace. This dips down to a pear-shaped drop. It is also replete with girandole earrings and two brooches, one oval and one aigrette spray. It is offered in a fitted case. By A La Vieille Russie, circa 1760, from the collection of Malinda Menotti, daughter of Happy Rockefeller.
