EDITOR'S REVIEW
The Gold Struck collection by Stephen Webster was inspired by the Elizabethan and Jacobean jewels found within the Cheapside Hoard collection. Webster was fascinated by the array of gemstones passing through London at that time and, as such, has created a collection defined by colour. The gems have been set in rubover settings, a popular method from the time of the Cheapside Hoard jewels, and this cuff from Gold Struck features hexagonal red coral topped with Webster’s signature Crystal Haze faceted quartz, surrounded by round and square-cut fire opals, diamonds and orange sapphires set into yellow gold.
