To celebrate the 80th birthday of TAG Heuer's Honorary Chairman, Jack Heuer, the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 Jack Heuer Edition has been released. The 45mm chronograph borrows elements from Formula One and aeronautics, including a black titanium carbide steel bezel, and a fine brushed and sandblasted steel and titanium cage. Based on the TAG Heuer Mikrogirder - the first mechanical wristwatch to measure 1/100th of a second using a central chronograph hand - the watch has an asymmetrical design, with Jack Heuer's coat of arms and signature on the back case.
