Italian designer Elsa Peretti has been creating her sleek, minimalist jewellery for Tiffany & Co. since 1974. One of her earliest and most recognised creations is the Bottle pendant, which has undergone many transformations over the years. Inspired by her visits to Portofino, Italy, in the 1960s, where she witnessed many beautiful women, each with a gardenia in their hands, Peretti went on to create a bottle that would become one of her signature designs. This round version of the iconic Bottle pendant, shown in yellow gold with a hand-carved lapis lazuli stopper, is also available in sterling silver, as well as with turquoise or black jade stoppers.
