EDITOR'S REVIEW
A thoroughly resilient dive watch from Swiss watchmaker Tudor. The Pelagos dive watch is the first watch from Tudor to feature a lightweight and durable titanium case and bracelet. The 42mm case has a matte and satin finish with elegant bevelled edges. The crown at 3 o'clock is protected by pointed crown guards and Tudor's hallmark helium release valve - a feature shared with its brother brand Rolex - sits at 9 o'clock. The matte black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel has luminescent numerals, while the flange, which displays the minute track, elegantly encases the luminescent hour batons. Making this an unmistakable Tudor watch are the luminescent snowflake hour, minute and second hands that encircle the matte black dial. The titanium bracelet incorporates an adjustable strap that expands and contracts with differing water pressure, a development patented by Tudor. The Tudor Pelagos dive watch also comes with a standard length rubber strap and another longer length strap suitable for wearing over a diving suit. Powered by a Swiss made self-winding mechanical movement, this Tudor diver watch is water-resistant to 500m and has a power reserve of up to 38 hours.
