EDITOR'S REVIEW
A redesigned watch silhouette has been launched to mark two events for Vacheron Constantin. Not only is it 260 years since the historic Swiss horologist first began manufacturing watches, but 2015 marks the year that the watchmaker launches its first in-house chronograph movement. With a pure, elegant, cushion-shaped, rose gold case, the off-white dial features a retro-styled pulsometer and deep blue Arabic numerals. A mono-pusher operates the chronograph function of the central chronograph hand and dragging 45-minute dial at 3 o'clock. The in-house built mechanical, manual-winding movement, calibre 3300, is visible in its splendour through the sapphire crystal case back. This daring, elegant watch is limited to 260 individually numbered models.
