EDITOR'S REVIEW
Much to the delight of collectors, Vacheron Constantin revisits one of its legendary ultra-thin watches from 1955 with the release of the Ultra-fine 1955 with a movement just 1.64mm thick. The sophisticated, restrained and pure lines of this watch give it a timeless appeal. The round 36mm platinum case, measuring just 4.13mm thick, frames a minimalist silvered opaline dial with refined gold baton hour markers painted blue and baton-shaped hands. Inside this model is the legendary 1955 mechanical manual-winding calibre 1003 with gold bridges and handcrafted finishes, which can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback. One of the thinnest watches in the world, Vacheron Constantin presents this exquisite model on a dark blue leather alligator strap with a platinum buckle in the shape of the Maison’s Maltese cross-shaped logo.
