EDITOR'S REVIEW
The Malte has been a classic collection of Vacheron Constantin since 1912 and was named after the Maltese cross, which is the emblem of the oldest watch brand in the world. The distinctive, curved tonneau-shaped case is crafted in warm 18 carat pink gold and the dial is an elegant slate colour. A three-handed watch with central hours and minutes and a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock, this watch is a winning blend of harmonious lines and purity. Inside the 36.7 x 47.6mm case is Vacheron’s Calibre 4400 AS, a mechanical hand-wound movement with a respectable 65-hour power reserve. Presented on a black alligator strap with a pink gold buckle, this is a classic watch for gentlemen who appreciate the finer things in life.
