EDITOR'S REVIEW
While Verdura's home is in New York, this by no means tells the amazing history behind this glamorous jewellery house. Founded in 1939 by Sicilian-born Duke Fulco di Verdura, this jeweller's designs are intensely influenced by his extravagant lifestyle, which spanned the Atlantic, from Palermo to Paris, Hollywood and, eventually, New York. In his time, Verdura collaborated with some of the world's most famous designers and artists, including Coco Chanel and Salvador Dali, and this golden age of design was a powerful influence on his creations. Today, Verdura retains the eclectic allure and vibrancy of his original designs. These playful and vivid Verdura Honeybee cufflinks are crafted from yellow gold. The reverse of each cufflink is a detailed honeycomb, while the honeybee itself is decorated with a polished black enamel and yellow gold striped abdomen.
