|Maria Doulton: I'm in Saint Barts in the Caribbean with Richard Mille and I'm here to do some very serious work, because I want to see if it's true what Richard Mille says about their watches.
What better place to see these watches in action than on board Jolt Two which is a 45ft boat that belongs to the CEO of Richard Mille, Peter Harrison. He asked his sailors to wear the watches as they winch, grind, climb the mast, dive onto the boat so that he can be sure that his watches are as precise as his sailing.
As a brand how does it benefit you to have the watches on board on the wrists of sailors in a regatta?
Peter: It's a great testing ground. They get beaten against winches, they get wet, they get scratched and we find ways to make them better.
Maria Doulton: But it's not all hard work and there are some very glamorous watches for women here. I like this RMO7 which looks so chic and sport on the beach yet it doesn't mind getting wet or being thrown around a bit and the new Richard Mille women's watches can effortlessly glide from serious performance to laidback chic, because us women we like precision and style or neatly wrapped up in one watch. Built with performance in mind these watches are made using the latest technology just like the boats themselves. If you want to take a dip in the ocean these two diving watches are perfect for those underwater moments. So they're the perfect watch for Saint Barts. They look good, perform well and have fun.
That's all from me from Saint Barts, so all that's left to say is that I hope that
