With Masterpiece London around the corner, The Jewellery Editor has already picked out some of the watch and jewellery highlights to look out for at this annual luxury art, antiques and design fair. And today we are launching a competition, in conjunction with luxury Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre, that will give two lucky readers the opportunity to visit Masterpiece on the day of their choice and enjoy an exclusive Enamelling Masterclass with one of Jaeger-LeCoultre's master enamellers.
During the one-hour-long Masterclass, the winners will meet a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Enameller, who will guide them through the intricate enamelling process. And it doesn't stop there as they will also be invited to try their hand at enamelling a watch themselves.
There is much to delight watch lovers at this year's Masterpiece. Jaeger-LeCoultre is making its first appearance at the event and, to mark the occasion, it will be showing its Hybris Artistica collection of 12 unique timepieces for the very first time. From Jaeger-LeCoultre's Duomètre à Grande Sonnerie, the most complicated watch in the world, to the Hybris Artistica Collection Reverso Cordonnet Neva ladies' watch, which is swathed in diamonds, the collection is an unprecedented display of mechanical prowess and artistic craftsmanship.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Enamelling Masterclasses, which last one hour, will be held at 11am each day from Wednesday 26 June to Wednesday 2 July 2014. To be in with a chance of winning, email [email protected] with the reference "TheJewelleryEditor", stating your preferred day. The prize includes complimentary entrance to Masterpiece London and a one-hour Enamelling Masterclass on the day of your choice.
