For the first time in history, Christie's is holding a virtual summer auction of jewels that is online only, featuring up-and-coming and established designers.

Christie's first-ever online sale of fine jewellery opened for business yesterday, featuring 100 lots from new and established designers and some very accessible price points - an attractive proposition for budding new collectors.

Until Friday July 26, you can bid on Christie's Summer Jewels virtual sale on the auction house's website. The sale includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets, cufflinks and other jewels by up-and-coming designers, including Lily Gabriella Elia, Olivia Wildenstein and Marina Bulgari's label Marina B, plus pieces by established jeweller Roberto Coin.

"This inaugural online only sale of Summer Jewels is an exciting new venture for us at Christie's," says François Curiel, Chairman of Christie's Jewelry Department. "After a historic spring season of auction sales, we are pleased to offer collectors a new way to collect jewellery with Christie's and to introduce a specially curated array of designs by some of the young shining stars working within the jewellery world."
