Goldsmiths’ Fair is the leading UK showcase for original jewellery and silver. With 126 contemporary designers ready to share their latest artistic adventures with the public, the Fair attracts collectors, design lovers and shoppers to the magnificent venue of Goldsmiths’ Hall, a short stroll from St. Paul’s Cathedral.
From the traditional to the fantastical and defiantly cutting-edge, the operative words at Goldsmiths’ Fair are unbridled imagination and impeccable craftsmanship. And the best part of it all is that everything you see can be bought directly from the maker with prices for every pocket imaginable.
With so many exhibitors – 92 jewellers and 34 silversmiths – the Fair is divided over a two-week period allowing half the exhibitors to appear in Week One and the other half in Week Two. All 126 independent UK designers have been selected by a panel of experts - including fashion filmmaker Ujin Lin.
Big names like Shaun Leane, Elizabeth Gage, Ane Christensen, Ornella Iannuzzi and Tomasz Donocik will be in attendance along with 10 recent Goldsmiths’ graduates making their debut on the jewellery and silver scene. For the full list of exhibitors and brief biographies of each creator, please consult the official webpage.
Ticket prices: one week £15; two weeks £20
Running in tandem with the cornucopia of exhibitors, Goldsmiths’ Fair is organising a series of Breakfast Talks hosted by industry specialists. Maria Doulton, our very own editor-in-chief and founder of The Jewellery Editor, will be giving a fascinating talk on the power that celebrity jewellery has to influence trends and how the rise of social media is bringing smaller jewellery brands to the red carpet. Space is limited, so be sure to book your ticket to Maria Doulton’s Red Carpet Jewellery Breakfast Talk on 29 September in advance.
