Explosions of colour, unusual stones and of course the blossom shape are what mark this new Louis Vuitton High Jewellery collection and the blossom, has been with this company since 1896 so it's fitting that it comes through in these new jewels.

Blue and green dominate the colour scheme, with sapphires, Australian opals, tsavorites, tourmalines and then the bright colours of zesty mandarin garnet,
and spinels.

Each stone is unique, whether its size, the clarity, the color or the very rarity of the stone itself. We even have a brand new type of tsavorite, that according to Vuitton, has never been seen in a high jewellery collection before.

The subtleties of color in these two sapphires one Burmese, and one from Ceylon, show the rigorous criteria of Louis Vuitton's gem buying department.

The confidence and personality of these stones really shines out so much so that, it has caught many people's eyes and half of them were sold within hours of unveiling.

Now that is a really beautiful problem to have.
